For anyone who say the True Blood finale last night, here is a bonus scene not seen in the episode. Beware there is still some goo and we learn a little bit about a new character who will be very important to Sookie next season.
Check it out!!! Bonus scene y’all!
Well it only took them an entire season but we’ve finally gotten an episode worth watching out of TrueBlood.
Can I just start out by saying GOOD RIDDANCE RUSSELL EDGINGTON! I must admit that I was little disappointed that Russie’s death wasn’t at the hand of Eric but… I litterally squealed with glee when it was done.
I’m being completely honest when I say I could completely do without the new and unimproved “G.I. Jason” they’ve introduced. He’s seeing his mother and father (who are apparently right-wing fanger-haters) and they’ve pushed him over the edge. I don’t know where this is going but I’m thinking I’m probably not going to like it. I was so sad when he told Jessica “I could never love a fanger.” She looked so sad… and she saved his life! Ugh. Typical jerk.
We still don’t know if Sam, Luna, and Emma got out of the authority headquarters safely but they’re all together and Luna pulled a pretty cool trick turning into Rev. Newland to try to get everyone out. EVEN BETTER was the true death of the hilarious ginger vamp via Sam flying into her mouth as a fly and shifting back into human form inside her!!! So hilarious.
I’m glad that Alcide is the leader of the Shreveport pack now but I’m convinced (as are most of my fellow Trubies) that he’ll be addicted now. I’m hoping not because that storyline has already been played out in previous seasons, but they’ve got to go somewhere with it.
I could have done without the Pam/Tara kiss. I wanted Tara to finally have a friend/mother-figure that would understand her and give her what she needs but they throw in the love interest angle because that’s how TrueBlood rolls.
I really enjoyed the birth of Andy’s fairy babies. Watching Arlene and LaFayette watch it was hilarious. And four girls!!!! What is Andy going to do?! Makes me giggle.
LaFayette and Andy have become two of my favorite characters and they aren’t even main characters in the book! This TV series makes everything go upside down!
And now we’re down to Bill and his crazy ass. He’s killed the other chancellors and now he drinks all of Lilith’s blood… because she “chose” him. Ugh. I’m so tired of hearing about her and this stupid vampire bible. I can’t lie… I was excited to think I was going to get rid of Beel and Russell all in one episode. I though “yay! Sookie and Eric can finally get on with their storyline!” But no… we can’t have that. Let’s get him nekkid and paint him red and make him into… Ta-da! Billith. Whomp, whomp, whomp.
Well… another year and we may get a good season out of it if they continue the storylines from the finale. All in all… a big “well done” for the cast and writers for the season finale. It wrapped up most of what we didn’t like and gave us more of what we did AND it gave Truebies something to look forward to next summer. Have no fear HBO… we’re far too loyal to leave after just one bad season.
I’ve been told now that Eric did, in fact, kill Russell. I assumed the light coming out of his face meant that the fairy blood was doing it somehow or that it was a delayed reaction from them all shooting their light at him as once. I didn’t see where Eric actually stabbed him or anything but, apologies. My mistake. It would make sense that the fairy light would be the first thing out of him if Eric did stab him. I’ll have to rewatch and pay closer attention. Thanks for pointing that out y’all!
